In most cases, the QuickStart VM requires no administration beyond managing the installed products and services. In the event that additional administration is required or that problems occur, this page provides information on accounts and possible explanations and solutions to some common problems.
Start the Virtual Appliance
Once you launch the VM and the boot sequence has been completed, you will see this screen:
Once you see the boot splash screen shown above, you can access the server with direct access or via ssh by replacing the IP address (192.168.3.140) with the one you see on your screen.
Managing SophiMail server
For creating new domains and email accounts browse to https://<ip-address>/webadmin
For accessing webmail sending demo emails browse to https://<ip-address>/webmail
Managing DaviCal Collaboration Server
For adding new principals and groups for shared calendars, contacts, tasks browse to https://<ip-address>
QuickStart VMware Image
To launch the VMware image, you will either need VMware Player for Windows and Linux, or VMware Fusion for Mac. Note that VMware Fusion only works on Intel architectures, so older Macs with PowerPC processors cannot run the QuickStart VM.

To lanch the VirtualBox image, you will need Oracle VirtualBox for your platform found in https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

QuickStart RAW Image
The RAW image provides a raw disk image that can be used by many hypervisors. Configure machines that use this image with sufficient RAM. See SophiMail QuickStart VM for the VM size requirements.
